Prior to joining Homrich Berg, Missie worked for The Ayco Company, a Goldman Sachs company. While at Ayco, she worked on a team to provide comprehensive financial services to corporate executives as well as high-net-worth individuals.  Areas of focus included investment planning, income tax planning, cash flow analysis, retirement planning, estate planning and risk management.

Missie graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Dance from Wake Forest University.  She received her master's degree in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University where she was named Outstanding Personal Financial Planning Graduate Student of the Year.

She is an active parent volunteer at The Westminster Schools and with The Junior League of Atlanta.  She serves as a den leader with the Boy Scouts of America.  In her free time, she and her husband enjoy attending their two sons' sporting events.
